SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Erin found her place at Gallaudet when she was an undergraduate student and dreamed of teaching at Gallaudet someday.  After she graduated with her BA, she obtained her MA in School Counseling & Guidance.  In the midst of her graduate studies, she did her Internship at California School for the Deaf, Riverside (CSDR) with their School Counseling department.  After she completed the graduate studies,  she became a First Grade Special Needs Teacher.   Believe it or not, she missed the lifestyle in DC, so she moved back.  After teaching students in grades 4-8 at Kendall Demonstration Elementary School (KDES), she joined the First Year Experience program at Gallaudet this fall.  She teaches GSR 101 and CAP 195 (Trasnsfer  Student Seminar), and works with the PLUS program to guide the students to success!
