What is P.L.U.S.?
The purpose of the Performance Learning for Undergraduate Success (P.L.U.S.) is to provide students with access to academic services and promote student success and retention. The office was established in summer 2008 and is comprised of staff and student assistants who are committed to student success.
First Year students identified through their admissions process or placement testing were recommended to be part of P.L.U.S. Students will either be receiving additional tutoring for their academics or sign language skills. Students will be required to attend university workshops, attend study table provided by P.L.U.S. or Tutorial Instructional Programs, attend P.L.U.S. meetings, and have good attendance in their classes. P.L.U.S. works in collaboration with Academic Advising and Residence Life who shares in the same goal of student success.
